David Cook was superb tonight. I was so touched to see his brother in the audience. What a courageous and loving young man. A very poignant picture, one which will not escape me for a long time.

I think he’s probably the most talented to ever be on these shows, and I’m not even American! It was like a dark, stalker type vibe to that song that I don’t think anyone saw coming, and I believe he worked on the arrangement himself. Artistically, he is miles ahead of everyone else in the competition, even though they are all talented. I see millions of record sales and tonnes of Grammys in his future. He throws it down every single week…..unbelievable.

Second best for me was little David. He sounded beautiful.
