American Idol Season Seven: Masterclass Heaven

Another year, another Idol. Welcome everyone and I hope you are ready to enjoy another season of promising singing talent. I have to say that, based on what I have seen thus far, that this season holds a great deal of promise. 

There is indeed some exciting young talent waiting to be discovered and, regardless of the different levels of performing experience that this year’s crop of vocalists bring to the 2008 competition, they do share one common trait: lack of fame and fortune.

However, for 24 individuals, this is about to change. Ah – the American Dream. You have to love it!

From a vocal teacher’s perspective, I am anticipating the future performances of many of these singers and cannot wait to share my Vocal Masterclass articles with you once again.

    I think it would be fun to be in their shoes … if I was good enough to audition, or young enough to try out. I enjoy Idol, but hope I do not see another character like Sanjiaya this season. I always want to best singer to win, not the hottest or worst one.
