I honestly cannot get enough of this performance. The passion, the artistry and the vocal power from these two very different artists give me chills and move me to tears. Celine Dion and Elvis Presley define stardom. Enjoy the video and share your comments:

Ahh, thank you, MCL. Very nice to see someone who feels the same way I do.
I see a lot of people commenting on how “creepy” they thought it was, but I couldn’t disagree more. This was/is pretty amazing and showcases the kind of vocal and performance ability that is seen only rarely. This was great, special talent on display and I’m glad Idol did it.
I was asking you about Elvis in another thread. I think what gives him such a hold over people (including me, recently) was the emotion he poured into his performances. I don’t know how technically perfect his singing is (I think Celine sounds more accomplished in that aspect of singing), but I know I like to hear his voice.
Definitely a thrill seeing this duet.

Elvis was a passionate and generous performer on stage and he defined “soul”. This, added to his unbelievable charisma and vocal power on stage, made him a star.
