I’m so glad Jennifer Hudson won! She is amazing as Effie and definitely the highlight performance of “Dreamgirls”. Last night, she definitely outsang Beyonce (again). I thought the whole “Dreamgirls” original song medley was phenomenal!

I was extremely happy and excited to see JHud finally win the Oscar after months of discussion. She was so emotional and happy that it was (for me) the only true, real moment of the Oscars last night. Those were tears of pure happiness. I hope great things continue to come her way.

As for Fantasia, I was blown away by her performance last week. And now that the Tony’s are allowing people to be nominated for shows that had opened on Broadway before the current year I think Fantasia might have a shot at being nominated. Her acting leaves a little to be desired but you can’t deny the passion behind that voice. I also thought it was very interesting that Fantasia has been doing some vocal work because she was annunciating a lot more clearly during her Broadway song. She’ll have to continue doing that to be able to tell her story on the stage.

Yes, I think Fantasia will, at the very least, be nominated for a Tony. I thought her performance on the AI results show last week was just outstanding.

I am also rooting for both. They are both wonderful singers. Jennifer won an oscar for best supporting actress in a movie…I bet next year we will see a Tony for Fantasia for lead in a broadway musical “Color Purple”.

I am happy for her because this was meant for her and American Idol was meant for Fantasia. Both of the women have expressed their love for God and I will continue to support them both as long as they stay true to themselves and humble.

I was watching AI 3 when Jennifer was voted off, and was shocked, they were the Three Divas. The judges i feel were all rooting for Fanrasia to win, but America voted.
I always was a big fan, and have watched on the net her success, Broadway, and especially her Faith.
